I started on italki as a student, learning foreign languages, so I know how valuable online sessions with a good teacher can be. I am an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher. I want you to meet your goals – and go further! – and I know we learn best when you're relaxed and having fun. It's important that we practise the English you want to be able to use, so I'll be guided by your needs, interests and passions.

I offer a few different lessons: structured lessons at pre-intermediate and intermediate levels, for you to learn the language and practise your skills; conversation practice, where we focus on building your confidence and fluency in natural conversation; presentation/interview practice, tailored to prepare you for a professional or academic goal; and, for upper intermediate and beyond, I welcome you into my personal passions in English, by offering classes on Shakespeare and modern English theatre. Whatever you need English for, I’m excited to help you!

What a great chance to learn and appreciate Shakespeare's work of art! I've never had such a unique and interesting lesson in a long time. Jon is an expert in his field, he prepared well, having great passion for teaching, and was very patient with students. I highly recommend him and his class!
