Hi! I’m Jay, an English teacher from California, USA, with nearly 8 years of experience teaching both kids and adults around the world. I’ve worked with learners of all ages and levels, helping them feel more confident using English in their daily lives.
I speak Spanish fluently and I’m currently learning Chinese, so I understand how challenging — and rewarding — it is to learn a new language. Outside of teaching, I love learning about different cultures and helping people reach their language goals.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
My teaching style is relaxed, patient, and supportive. I create a calm, comfortable environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and grow. I don’t rush — I listen carefully and adapt to each student’s needs.

My lessons are focused on real-life communication. I specialize in:

English for Specific Purposes (ESP) such as Business, Legal, and Medical English
Kids and teens aged 10 and up
I primarily use the Linguahouse curriculum, which includes interactive and level-appropriate materials that keep lessons interesting and goal-oriented. Each lesson is customized to your needs — whether you want to practice speaking, prepare for a job, or improve your child’s confidence.
