(Please note that I do not teach children) My name is Max and I'm a social worker, and have been working as such since graduation 2007. I love to teach foreigners about the Swedish language. My interests are music, literature, movies, football and all kinds of sociology, psychology (I'm a social worker...). I have lived abroad and learned a new language as an adult. I lived in Vienna for a while and learned German from scratch when I was at the age of 36. So yes, I know "that" feeling and experience. I'm a professional social worker where the most important thing is to meet the client where he/she is, and thereby make "hen" feel secure. I'm a professional social worker where the most important thing is to meet the client where he/she (in Swedish we use the gender-neutral personal pronoun "hen") is, and thereby make "hen" I will do my very best to meet you where you are and talk about the topics that interests you. The lessons are based on conversations.

Easy to talk to, speaking practice flows easily. Max is very good at keeping conversation going by giving many open questions that encourages one to find the right words to express yourself. For beneficial speaking practice one needs a great conversationalist, that would be eager to encourage student to speak and Max is one of them. Highly recommend! 🤗

I would like to recommend Max as a teacher. I was afraid that I can’t speak in Swedish but Max is so patient and he showed me that I really can do it. There are many interesting topics that can be discussed with each other so lessons are very interesting :)
