Hello, I’m Leslie. I’m a native English speaker and have taught over 3,800 lessons on italki. I work with students who already know English and want to become more comfortable, natural, and confident in real conversation. My lessons are calm, conversational, and tailored to each student. I have an attentive and supportive teaching style. There is no pressure, just space to speak and express yourself clearly. I open lesson times throughout the week based on my schedule. You’re welcome to book any available time. I have many years of experience teaching both in classrooms and online, and have taught over 3,800 lessons on italki. I have worked with students from many language backgrounds, including Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, and Russian. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Education, a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, and a 150-hour TEFL certificate. My background allows me to understand how people learn and to support each student in a way that is clear, natural, and effective. My lessons are conversation-focused and designed to help you speak more naturally and confidently. We can talk about your work, your life, ideas, culture, or any topic that interests you. I also have optional topics available if you’d like guidance. I create a calm, comfortable environment where you can speak freely without pressure.
