That was awesome!! We talked for a little while, and she seemed very interested in finding out my specific goals with Spanish so we could focus the lessons on those. She was able to help me with my pronunciation (one of my biggest goals) right in the first lesson, and we are going to try some shadowing in future lessons. For my other major goal (grammar) she had me do an activity where there were pairs of pictures (like a candle and a light bulb), and I practiced building sentences like "In the past people used candles for light, but now we use light bulbs." She knows how to speak slowly and enunciate clearly to help make it easier for a student to understand, and she is very encouraging. Fantastic lesson and I am looking forward to the next one!

Alejandra es una maestra increible! Ella me ha ayudado refinar mi espanol y encontrar areas en que tengo que estudiar y practicar mas. Es muy simpatica y explica temas complicadas en maneras mas sencillas. Difruto mucho charlando con ella y siempre aprendo algo nuevo en nuestras clases!

This was an excellent lesson. The teacher provided options for different learning methods as well as an opportunity to practice and learn during the lesson. The teacher communicated clearly.

I was a nervous wreck during our first meeting. Alejandra was so patient, kind and informative. I am so excited to meet with Alejandra again. I am hopeful she will guide me to fluency!

This was just a trial lesson so my instructor gave me a easy introduction into asking introductory questions. That said in the future I hope there’s more material for me to practice on even with the format we agreed on.

I highly recommend Alejandra! She was very kind, patient, and fun to talk to. She is very knowledgable and a great teacher. I will definitely meet with her again!
