I found a passion for language a few years ago when I took up German and have been loving it ever since and so became a teacher here to help others with their language! Talking with people from all over the world is a lot of fun and is one of the things I enjoy most, the other being able to genuinely get to know my students and see their progress.
I've grown up in Ireland and started travelling a bit in the last few years, the most recent trips being to Chicago, Stockholm and Paris.
I've played guitar for 9 years, recently started learning classical too, and studied Film & TV in college so I would say I'm into the creative side of things! I also enjoy WWII era historical fiction.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
One of the most important parts of learning a language is staying motivated and I think an excellent way to do this is through using the language and speaking to people. Being able to communicate with another person is what language is all about.
Through my experience learning a language I've come across a lot about different methods of learning and what I found has worked best is to lots of input, listening to and reading the language, watching films or TV, reading books and...

For me, the most important thing during class is to create a friendly and comfortable environment where you don't feel stressed or nervous to speak. To do this we will start with simple, everyday topics and get to know each other a bit. From there, we can go where the conversation takes us or we can work with specific topics you'd like to become more comfortable talking about such as hobbies, work, or travel.
I think grammar study can be beneficial to do in your own time but during a class I think it's most useful to put what you've learned into practise. Throughout our lesson I will give you small corrections where needed and help suggest natural ways to phrase and express ideas.5.0

I have been studying with India for months and really appreciate the lessons with her. She has a wide range of interests, is well-read, a good listener, and is very patient with my mistakes. Because I work, I also appreciate the fact that she is flexible in her schedule.Last but not least, I learn a lot about Ireland, the culture, media and political issues and daily life there.
