I am a fully qualified English language teacher from the UK (CertTESOL, MSc Applied Linguistics for Language Teaching from the University of Oxford). I have 7 years of professional experience working online for myself, language schools and, most recently, the University of Manchester.
I am passionate about helping people improve their language skills and find their own voice in English in a supportive, patient, environment.

As a teacher, I prioritise creating a supportive, patient, environment for learning. I am here to encourage and help you in your language learning journey, as I know what a long and challenging process it can be!
Two other features that characterise me as a teacher are related to my academic background. With a BSc in Anthropology, I am passionate about learning about different cultures and sharing my own knowledge about British culture. My recently completed MSc in Applied Linguistics for Language Teaching has also helped bring me up to date with the latest academic research in the field of second language acquisition, and apply this knowledge in my own teaching.Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
It is very important to me to create a very interactive environment, where you are the one doing most of the speaking. I also like to create a relaxed, supportive environment for classes where we embrace mistakes as part of the learning process, rather than something to fear!
My teaching style is based on creating highly personalised, student-centred classes, respecting your goals, interests, and needs. Researcher and translatorI worked as a researcher and translator at the Universidad de Granada, within the EU H2020 project PERCEPTIONS. The project researched how migrants or potential migrants see Europe, and involved interviews, focus groups, and surveys with migrants and first-line practitioners.
