Hi everyone, my name is Linda and I’m from Slovakia. I studied International Relations in Prague and later completed my Master’s in Translation at the University of Bristol. Today, I work as a translator and interpreter.
Slovak is my native language but I am lucky to come from a generation that considers Czech as their native language too, and I’m also fluent in English, French, and Spanish. Right now, I’m learning Arabic — also through iTalki — so I understand very well what it feels like to be in your shoes as a learner.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
I see myself less as a traditional teacher and more as a conversation partner and guide. Because I work as a translator and speak several languages myself, I know how tricky it can be to move from understanding a language to actually speaking it fluently.
