Dia duit! I’m Kate—your Irish-English guide to languages that *live* (not just exist!). 🇮🇪🇵🇹🇪🇸 Why me? ✔ Exam whisperer: I’ve cracked the code for IELTS/Cambridge—no stress, just progress. ✔ Shy? No problem! My students go from "I can’t" to "Is *that* my voice?!" in weeks. ✔ Irish Gaelige made FUN Learn through rebel songs, ancient legends, and tongue-twisters (trust me, it works!). Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish (and battling Mandarin!), I’ve taught students everywhere from Tokyo cafés to Brazil bookshops. Imagine a class that feels like laughing over tea with a friend- with a little more structure!! Let’s turn grammar into stories and accents into adventure My students are made to feel comfortable and their confidence is built up right away in order to become proficient speakers whether they are complete beginners or intermediate level :) My best quality as a teacher is the ability to recognise individual needs and plan my classes accordingly so that every class is highly engaging for you! I have experience teaching Cambridge Exams, IELTS, iGCSE, IB Diploma and General English. Kate is an absolutely fabulous teacher. She is extremely patient, kind, and makes you feel super at ease during lessons which is so essential when learning a new language. I really appreciate that she focuses on making sure I get plenty of opportunities to practice speaking. I also feel very comfortable making mistakes and know that Kate will always encourage me to keep trying. I look forward to each lesson and can't wait to keep learning with her.

I really love my lessons with Kate! They're always so enjoyable and have a really great mix of free conversation and different learning materials. Kate has a wonderful ability to create an environment where it feels comfortable and fun to speak as much as I can, make mistakes, and ask questions.
