My name is Matthew (You can call me "Matt" if you like !) and I'm from Ireland! I am passionate about languages, different cultures and helping people to learn! I'm currently studying Japanese and I would like to some day incorporate that into my work life whether through working in translation or any other means. I'm interested in things like Art, Music, Geography, Travel, Video games and many more things :) We can chat about anything you like!

私はアイルランドのTEFL協会でTEFLの資格を取得しており、人々の英語学習をサポートすることに強い情熱を持っています！私自身、数年間日本語を勉強していますので、学習者目線での習得プロセスにとても精通していると自負しています。日本語から英語で翻訳してったらよく遭って普通の問題には分かります。また、幅広い学習レベルの生徒（特に日本人の学生）との会話練習の経験が豊富にあります。 I am TEFL qualified through The TEFL Institute of Ireland and extremely passionate about languages and helping people learn! I am very familiar with the process of acquiring language from the perspective of a learner as I have personally been studying Japanese for a few years. I also have a lot of amateur experience in conversation practice with learners of all levels of ability, particularly with Japanese students.

カジュアルな会話に重点を置きながら、スピーキングに自信をつけ、スラスラと話せることを目指してお手伝いしたいと考えています。あなたのレベルに合わせて、旅行、世界中の人々とのコミュニケーション、好きな番組や映画、歌の理解のためなど、しっかりとした目標を定めて一緒に練習しましょう！みなさんが自信を持って楽しく英語を話せるようになってもらえたら、これほど嬉しいことはありません。^^ I prefer to focus on helping people build confidence and fluency in their speaking ability, with an emphasis on casual conversation. Although I am more than happy to help people of all levels of ability to practice with other specific goals in mind, whether it's for travel, connecting with family or understanding your favourite shows, movies or songs! My main goal is to get you speaking with confidence so that you can feel more comfortable using your English in real life situations! :)

I really enjoy Mat’s class. After the first class, I signed up for a package of classes. I can engage in conversations around a specific topic with Mat. And every time, I bring up my questions and concerns with Mat, he will provide clear solutions, which is very useful.
