As an educator by profession, and a long-term student with Teacher Jamie for over 5 years now, I can say with conviction that she is the BEST teacher one could possibly have. She has played a pivotal role in my learning journey and showed me what it means to be genuinely committed to helping students excel. The level of dedication to her job is truly unparalleled. I highly recommend taking a lesson with Teacher Jamie!

드디어 발표를 잘 마무리했습니다! 😄 사실 제가 학술 대회에서 한국어로 발표를 한 적이 있지만 이번엔 선생님께만 발표를 드려야 했는데 왠지 더 긴장한 것 같아요!ㅎㅎ 이렇게 세세한 피드백을 주셔서 정말 큰 도움이 되었습니다! 선생님 덕분에 나중에 또 한국어로 발표를 해야 한다면 더 잘 할 수 있을 것 같아요! :) 제가 아직 많이 부족하지만 항상 격려해 주시고 열정적으로 지도해 주셔서 감사합니다!ㅠ 다음 주에 또 봬요!

Although I don't get to take lessons as frequently as I wish, it already must have been several years since I started taking Jamie's lessons. I'm truly grateful for my luck of finding her as my tutor every single time. Her lessons have everything I would ask for - fun conversations, great notes, vocab and grammar learning, cultural insights, effective usage of media, pronunciation guidance and even a little push for better memorization of new words. As a learner of multiple languages who has met so many different teachers over the years, I truly value her.

As always, a great lesson and a fun Korean hour with Jamie! Not only does she give all the new words and correct sentences in the chat during the lesson, which already gives me tons of materials to review afterwards on my own, but also provides a feedback after class with a few selected important points to review along with a personal message. I find it's very nice of her to do that and greatly appreciate it every time. I copy all of her notes after each lesson to print out and manage in my Korean notebook, which has become a significant amount after all the lessons with her over the years. I still have a lot to go back to and study properly again, but it's like a personalized textbook that she made for me. Thanks so much Jamie!

When I just have a conversation-based lesson with Jamie like today, I just feel like I'm talking to a friend and always wish I could speak Korean better, which gives me more motivation to learn. I love that our conversations are very organic and feel like an actual person-to-person communication, but at the same time, she makes sure to explain where I can improve and could have used better expressions or correct grammar afterwards. I enjoy all types of lessons with her - whether it's conversation-based or with some materials, such as videos, articles and her own materials, as she effectively employs now and then. There are always so much to learn and is fun, regardless of what we do. Thanks Jamie, and I look forward to our next lesson, as always!
