Joan

Joan is the best Spanish teacher on italki! My daughter and I tried a few teachers but narrowed it down to only using Joan. Since just strictly doing lessons with Joan in a few short months we are able to carry on lengthy conversations in Spanish, not just your average “Hi, nice to meet you” stuff. We had a bathroom renovation that took awhile and I was able to speak with a worker daily who only spoke Spanish. I really can’t recommend Joan enough. He is patient, kind, helpful, and motivating. Each class is filled with great content, with a lot of talking in Spanish and kind corrections. If you are serious about learning Spanish then you really need to do classes with Joan.

I always enjoy my lessons with Joan. He is fun, relaxed, and we talk about everything - music, culture, sports, politics, the weather, etc. And he will correct grammatical errors with precision and examples, but always in a gentle way.
