Hi, I’m Alex, nice to meet you! I'm originally from Italy, but I've spent over a decade studying and working abroad. I've lived in the USA, the UK, Japan, and Thailand. I'm passionate about languages, cultures, and communication. I'm always looking for ways to connect with the world. I truly believe that learning a new language is one of the most rewarding investments you can make. It opens doors to new opportunities, perspectives, and friendships — and it makes the world feel a little more like home, no matter where you are. I look forward to helping you on your language journey!

I’m a certified CELTA and TESOL instructor with over a decade of experience teaching English to speakers of other languages. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with learners of all ages – from young children to adults – in both classroom settings and online environments. In addition to English, I design and offer Italian lessons for beginners, with a focus on practical, conversational skills and cultural insights. Whether you're learning English or Italian, my goal is to create a supportive, engaging, and personalized experience to help you reach your language goals. I look forward to welcoming you to one of my classes!

I offer English and Italian lessons tailored to your level, goals, and interests. We can follow a structured approach using textbooks, or keep things more dynamic by working with YouTube videos, songs, news articles, and other real-world materials — it all depends on what works best for you. Before you book your first lesson, please take a moment to tell me a bit about yourself: your current level, why you're learning the language, and any preferences or goals you may have. This helps me prepare the right materials in advance and ensures we make the most of our time together from the very first session. The more I know about you, the better I can support your learning journey!

Alex has an easy manner, a pleasant voice, and excellent English (and, of course, Italian). It is early in the process, and I am using these lessons in conjunction with other methods. I think I am making progress.
