As a language student myself, I know how important is to practice with a native speaker. I'm a very easy-going and open person.
I'm Brazilian, I've graduated in psychology in 2018, worked in the field for 4 years until I decided to move to Germany to be able to have a deeper immersion in the language and in the cultural experience. I love to learn about other cultures and spend time with my friends. I love music, animals and teaching on Italki.

- My main qualities as a tutor is to be patient, use gestures and expressions, speak calmly for better phonetic understanding.
- I care about the needs of my students and I will always tailor the lessons according to those needs.

For beginners: We'll use resources for basic communication, providing the knowledge and practice of basic vocabulary (and grammar, if you want) and stimulating writing, reading, speaking and listening skills. Gradually I will present situations of conversation.
If the student has some knowledge: I will use customized methodologies and materials according the student's interests. We can have conversation classes only, if you wish. Advanced grammar tips, pronunciation training, practice for exams and interviews.

Sandy is simply fabulous! She tailors our lessons to fit my level of Portuguese and takes her time to explain concepts, meanings, and rules. She makes sure I properly pronounce any new words I learn and gives me time to take notes during our lessons. Ela e ótima!
