My name is Shimei Botes and I am from South Africa. I grew up learning two languages (English & Afrikaans) in a country that has up to 11 national languages. We are a country known for its vibrant culture and color and this is what makes teaching so amazing for me!
I am used to interacting with people from around the globe as I have been teaching English since the beginning of 2019. I absolutely love teaching because not only does it mean I get to talk to different people, but I also get to give them a gift - the gift of language!Öğretmen Olarak Ben
Many teachers would tell you to read English books and work through a worksheet by yourself. I say there are better, more productive and more interesting ways to learn English!
During my time as an English teacher, I have picked up a few tips and tricks that have proven helpful to many students and this is something I would love to share with more students.

I am happy to offer basic conversational classes to patch up the students’ spoken English, as well as formal structured classes using various TEFL-endorsed materials that are focused on improving spoken and written English.
I also make use of lesson plans and course work when provided by a specific company/school. I have taught English to various age groups ranging from pre-schoolers to pensioners, all of whom came from across the globe.
