I'm belgian, expatriate to Mexico. By my choice of life you can tell that I love travels, culture and languages. Living abroad raised the interest in me of the importance of foreign languages, which is why I love to teach my beautiful own language, french!
I do love travels and culture but I'm also interested in current affairs, reading and cinema, among others. I'm curious and always ready to talk about new topics.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
✴ I was a teacher, in high school, for 7 years. I used to teach in french to mexican students with different levels of french, which means I know how to adapt to any level. Nevertheless, my experience is now more with adults.
✴ I now have 6 years of teaching experience on Italki, with students of all levels from beginner to advanced.
✴ I believe a language is better learnt through the use of authentic material such as videos, articles, music, and more. Immersion in the language is the best, and the discovering of its structure and rules comes naturally. Of course to immerge yourself in a language, having the chance to speak is just as important! My lessons give the priority to
✴ the discovery of the french through various material and different topics
✴ a discussion about it
✴ the correction of your mistakes ✴ and a structured explanation of the rules discovered.
=> all depending on your NEEDS!

1 minute before the session began, the teacher told me to meet them on zoom instead of through italki. I didn't see this message until several minutes into the lesson and thus arrived late. The teacher did not apologize. Nor did they stay a few minutes later to accommodate - in fact they stopped the lesson 1 minute early from the originally scheduled end time. Also the teacher seems to prefer to have the students come up with their own conversation topics instead of providing suggestions themselves.
