** Have fun and learn faster: I say NO to boring homework :- ) ** Hello, my name is Maja. Nice to meet you! I am a British teacher & actor based in London, UK. I have a BA degree in English literature, teaching and translation. I am also CELTA certified (Dec 2021). I have taught English at various levels for over 7 years. I can adapt your lesson to YOUR NEEDS and make sure you make the most of it and improve whatever area of English you require: speaking, listening, writing, business English, etc. In my 'other life', I am an actor (HP fans know me as 'Carrow' from 'Fantastic Beasts'), comedian and a jazz singer. I am also an avid traveller exploring the world whenever I can.

I prepare CUSTOMISED HOMEWORK for every student depending on their needs and interests. I do my best to make sure it is followed up upon afterwards as well, if you like. More importantly, I do all I can to make the whole process FUN for you, so that you learn in a positive, relaxing, fun and safe atmosphere! I also speak French, Polish, German and intermediate Spanish. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you speak English better and better.

Maja is great! She has ways to make you talk :-). Even my 8 year old son started activating his rudimentary English. She gives him time to think to find the words. She repeats what she understood to make sure the conversation is all around his thoughts and gives him input in case of lack of words. Absolutely great teacher. Enjoy!

Maja is a really great teacher! I have enjoyed every lesson with her so far :). She always prepares very interesting exercises and she always explains everything unknown. Her pronounciation is very clear and understandable and she is very positive and friendly ;).
