Hi, I'm Kat Wilson, a qualified teacher, registered with Khurusapha (The teacher’s council of Thailand) in 1996 with a teaching license as well as being a full time teacher, taught many subjects for 12 years at many schools in Thailand. I moved to England in 2004. I have taught Thai at a college in London and run courses for companies.
I have taught Thai/Lao to all ages from primary to university students worldwide so I can dive deep to help you with every skill. I also have offered CEFR and ACTFL courses. Kruu Kat is an extremely valuable and good teacher who was been teaching me Lao Isaan for a while now. She makes Lao accessible and easy to understand, and she encourages me to use it casually to practice speaking like a native. Furthermore, she is very encouraging to the student and is patient and willing to accept any improvement and growth no matter how small.

I wanted to do a class and have her evaluate my speaking level. The conversation was fun and she asked several questions that challenged my level and then she gave me good feedback. I'm impressed and will be doing more lessons with her in the future.

Always fun to have lessons with Kru Kat! I can hear tones clearly compared to before, and I think I am speaking in Thai for over half the lessons now. Not long ago I could barely speak to Kru Kat in Thai, and even my mom has noticed how much more I can speak!

Très content de ma première leçon avec Kat, nous avons longuement échanger via le tchat pour parler de mes objectifs, mon rapport à la langue et mon "background pédagogique" ce qui a permis de bien commencé la première leçon. Nous avons également pris une peu de temps pendant le cours pour préparer les prochaines en me donnant des conseils pédagogique. Plus le fait qu'elle utilise un tableau en cours pour écrire la phonétique, c'est génial. J'ai confiance en elle pour apprendre le Lao !
