I have more than 7 years of experience teaching Spanish to students from all over the world. My lessons are dynamic and focused on the development of practical skills to help you correctly use the theoretical concepts of this language in your daily life. Mis lecciones están enfocadas en el desarrollo de la conversación, la pronunciación, la escucha, la escritura y la lectura. Empleo herramientas audiovisuales e imágenes didácticas para guíarte en tu proceso de aprendizaje, personalizadas y ordenadas según tus intereses y el nivel de español que tengas. My lessons aim to help you develop conversational, pronunciation, listening, writing, and reading comprehension skills. I use audiovisual tools and images to guide you in your learning process, personalized and organized depending on your interests and language level.

Mark is an excellent instructor. He takes the time to correct pronunciation, grammar, etc., perfectly - meaning he keeps the conversation going, even through all of my mistakes!

Mark is a fantastic teacher. I’ve finished around 30 lessons with him, and I feel like my Spanish is improving! We spend time conversing, going over hundreds verbs in many tense, and reviewing grammar. I supplement our weekly lessons with practicing Spanish with AI chatbots so that I can review concepts from our lesson. Excited to continue learning from him.

If you are serious about learning Spanish then Mark is definitely your guy. His English is excellent and his methods of teaching are different than a normal boring Spanish class. Warning: he goes fast and takes it very serious but after a while you will realize that it is for your own good! You must be willing to work on your own and practice and review the material. I have been working with Mark normally 2 times per week for a year straight and I must say that he has made a world of difference in my Spanish speaking and understanding. *****

I took a single lesson with Mark and was not very satisfied. The teacher didn't ask about my goals or preferences in learning Spanish. After a brief small talk, he immediately shared a table of verbs and their conjugations. For the entire 45-minute lesson, we mostly filled out this table, occasionally being asked to make sentences with the verbs – this was the only exercise we did. When I asked if there were any other exercises, I was told that there were, but since my level is low, I needed to focus on learning verbs. He also mentioned that he doesn't follow levels or learning plans and only assesses whether a person "speaks well or not." I would not recommend him for beginners.
