From the United States originally, now living in Ulm, Germany. I know learning a new language is always work, but while learning 2 new languages as an adult I have learned that the right teacher can accelerate the speed of retention and language acquisition. Nothing in life is better than helping someone get good at something and helping them feel confident. People have helped me overcome many big challenges and I am here to help you. I'm a huge reader (fiction, biographies, science, self help, etc.) and also very into strength training, mtb, running, bouldering, swimming, skateboarding, snowboarding, formula 1, chess, cooking and a lot more.

I have helped so many people learn English as a second language. I started 20 years ago tutoring foreign speakers hoping to integrate into English speaking cultures. In the United States I worked in hospitality while younger and later sales. I have spoken to thousands upon thousands of people in a huge variety of contexts and I really can help you find the right words to connect with others. We can work on anything from business specific language to flirting depending on your aspirations. Don't be afraid to ask about your needs. Available to help with writing, reading, and speaking.

My lessons are meant to be stress free and focused on helping you say what you want to say. I can speak slowly or quickly depending on how well you comprehend and have no trouble simplifying complex words, phrases, sayings, etc. I am a big fan of repeating things and working on making things stick. My corrections usually are pretty mild in the sense that I like to incorporate the corrections into my reaction. Example you say : It is more cold in my country than it is here. I say back to you: So you think it is colder in your country than here? That way you can take the correction if you hear it and not interrupt your flow if you are telling a story.
