Hi! My name is Peter, and I am from the German city of Augsburg (Bavaria), but right now I live in Bogota (Colombia, South America). I have also lived in Spain and the United States. I´m a journalist and a translator, my hobbies are chess, photography and learning languages. I want to help you feel more at ease when you speak German. As a journalist I am used to talking with people I´ve never met before, and being a passionate language learner myself, I know what it´s like to struggle to speak a foreign language. As a community tutor I focus on conversation, so the first step is finding out what topics you enjoy talking about. As we talk, I will help you to express yourself in a way that sounds more natural. Take this example: “Können Sie Deutsch sprechen?”. That´s a perfectly correct sentence, but native speakers simply don´t use it. They ask either “Können Sie Deutsch?” or “Sprechen Sie Deutsch?“.
At the beginning of your journey to fluency, it may be difficult to find the right words, so it might help that you can ask me almost anything in English, Spanish or even French.Öğretim materyallerim
