I specialise in stress-free, tailored speaking practice—helping learners to gain fluency effortlessly.
With 7+ years of teaching experience (and 5,000+ hours online), I focus on making lessons engaging and personal.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me writing songs, books, or apps. I've travelled around 38 countries in 15 years, living in 9 of them, and now I've chosen to settle down in Northern Italy, near to Milan.

Before the pandemic, I was teaching face-to-face around Sicily and Rome (and became TEFL certified). I ran an 'English Conversational Aperitivo' in Milan before moving to Brussels to become a Cicerone (beer expert). When the pandemic struck, I switched to teaching online and enjoyed the comforts and possibilities of working in a relaxed environment and having immediate access to information. I mostly stick to conversational topics for my methods, as I've found the best way to encourage students to retain information is by talking about what's important to them. I enjoy my work. I find ways to connect with my students in order to create a working environment with as little stress as possible while maintaining a professional work ethic.
I correct mistakes in the chat window so as not to disrupt the flow of the conversation; I introduce vocabulary in context so that the brain has a reason to hold onto the new information; and I give personalised recommendations on how I feel you could study in your spare time.
If required, I will happily give you pointers on how to study effortlessly in your spare time.

I always enjoy my lessons with Sean. He is an excellent teacher and most importantly, a good person.
