I’m Leo. I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m 49 years old and have been teaching for over 25 years. I am curious and love to learn, travel and expand my world because I believe that rich life experiences make richer lessons. Besides being a teacher I am a life and business certified coach and an amateur musician (I play the piano and sing) I am a passionate person and I thrive to think that I am contributing to a better world. One of the things I love is advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion. I firmly believe that we are all different and deserve our voices to be heard. Hi! I am a Spanish and English certified teacher from Argentina. I have been a teacher for 25 years. I’ve worked with kids, teenagers and adults. I speak “español rioplatense” which is the Spanish spoken in Argentina and Uruguay. I consider myself a teacher focused on people. To me, the most important thing is that I tailored my lessons to cater to every single student I have. We all learn in different ways and at different paces. I am very patient and respectful. I am also very interested in knowing how you feel and whether the lessons work for you. Timely feedback is essential. I like to design lessons where the student is the center. Students should always speak more than the teacher! I prefer to teach from a communicative approach, which means that we learn very hands-on by doing. I tend to have a book to organize the contents and grammar points, but I always add more resources that connect with the students’ needs and styles, with the aim of making the whole experience meaningful and engaging. Like I said before, teaching and learning are like a two-way street that can be improved with feedback and clear goals.
