Hello everyone! My name is Silvana and I'm from Austria and also currently live here. One of my biggest hobbies is learning new languages. Apart from languages I learned at school (English, Spanish, French), I developed a big love for Slavic languages. That's why I fluently speak Serbian and I also know some Russian and aspects of the Czech language.
I love learning new languages, because in my opionion every language opens up a new world. And as I like to travel a lot, I like to communicate in the local language and understand the culture more that way.
Another big hobby of mine are sports. I enjoy running and fitness the most :)
After my Bachelor's degree in Slavic Linguistics I finished an additional academic degree in "Teaching German as a foreign language". Since then, I had the chance to teach study preparation courses for international students at the University in Innsbruck and to do an internship as an language assistant at the philological faculty in Novi Sad, Serbia, for one semester.
Currently, I am teaching German classes in a private language school as well as in the University of Salzburg.
I have been teaching online for more than 4 years and I additionally have experience in teaching online group lessons.
My main goal is to make you feel more confident during having conversations in German.
This will be practiced by speaking about topics of your interest, but also controversial topics which leave room for debates.

My first C2 German lesson with Silvana was excellent. She came prepared with a clear, structured plan and used highly engaging materials.
