Oh gosh I love my lessons with Nuriya! Today we had a deep dive into verb conjugation (present/future simple and simple past) as well as negation in both tenses and a bit of imperative! I have learned other languages and it's helpful that Nuriya is able to use academic terms to guide me through different grammar rules. She's patient and encouraging and does a thorough job checking for understanding. I'm super motivated to learn so that we can have more flowing conversations :)

Nuriya is an incredibly talented, capable, and thoughtful teacher. I've been regularly taking Russian classes with her for over a year now, and I have absolutely noticed a large improvement in my speaking abilities. Our conversations are always so fun and interesting that the class just flies by (unfortunately). She's also quite good at correcting my errors with both grammar and pronunciation. If you're considering starting on a new language or brushing up on your existing skills, then I can't recommend Nuriya enough! Спасибо большое за урок!))

Talking with Nuriya was genuinely fun, and I felt really comfortable with her right away. She's sweet, patient, and motivating, and she explains things in a way that actually makes sense, including the cultural context behind the language, not just the words. She even sent me extra materials to study on my own. Really hands-on and clearly cares about her students. Highly recommend!
