¡Hola! I’m Silvia, a native Spanish teacher from Granada, Spain, currently based in London 🇪🇸🇬🇧
I help students stop translating in their heads and start speaking Spanish naturally, with confidence and ease. My speciality is guiding learners from real Spanish textbooks to real Spanish life.
As a lifelong language learner myself (I’m currently learning French), I truly understand the frustrations and breakthroughs of learning a new language. I reached C2 level in English, so I know exactly what it takes to sound natural — and I’ll help you do the same in Spanish.

As a teacher, I am fun, dynamic and results-focused. From the very first lesson, students are encouraged to speak Spanish and use the language in real situations, building confidence step by step. My classes are interactive and practical, with plenty of speaking opportunities supported by clear explanations. I use a variety of online tools (Google Classroom, Google Drive, Skype, flashcards, Kahoot) to maximise progress and keep lessons engaging. Each class is fully personalised to the student’s goals and pace, because real progress happens when lessons adapt to you. My lessons are full of variety to make sure nobody gets bored during the classes. I follow and put into practice 2 methodologies: the communicative approach and the Task-based approach. Meaning that I give plenty of opportunities for the students to talk, looking for fluency and accuracy and also I will send them different tasks to deal with them together, so that they learn how to solve realistics situations in the language they are learning on their own. All the material I am using is authentic, from magazines, newspapers, flashcards, videos on youtube, instagram, daily conversations with friends or letters about serious matters.
