Luciana D.

Luciana is a wonderful teacher. She has a fun teaching style and is very patient and supportive.

In my ~35 lessons with Lu, I have come to observe that Lu is a gifted teacher. On the technical side, she is well prepared; has lesson plans, homeworks, and expertise with the subject matter. This alone would make her a great teacher. However, what makes her truly special, is that she understands that learning needs to be fun, and makes it so: through her personality or the games, comics, and learning activities she chooses.

Luciana, is really wonderful, very happy to have discovered her on italki. : )

Our class was wonderful—Luciana was kind, personable, patient, and encouraging. She was very skilled at keeping the conversation natural and flowing, while still providing instruction.

I came back after a time to have classes with Luciana again, because she's great teacher and supportive.

Great lesson! Luciana is able to meet me where I am skill-wise, and is adaptable as my Spanish comprehension improves. I appreciate that she corrects me gently.
