I am from Puerto Rico and I am 29 years old. I have a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics and I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish and after living in Prague for 4 years I have moved back to Puerto Rico. I also have an Instagram page where I post lots of Puerto Rican words and other things related to the language and culture you can find it at instagram.com/idiomas_coqui.

In terms of teaching experience, I started teaching over three years ago. I also worked with university students who were studying Spanish during my Master's Degree and working on italki has taught me a lot and I am constantly trying to improve my teaching skills. I am friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions.

My lessons are typically usage based. This means you will be learning while using the language. However, this doesn't mean we won't be working on the other 3 language skills. Even when we are working on reading or writing skills I always try to incorporate some kind of oral discussion to tie all the skills together. As for homework, I leave it up to the student's preferences and the time they have available outside of the lessons to actually do homework.
