Madeleine is a fantastic teacher. She is incredibly positive, patient, and brings energy to every lesson. She quickly evaluates your language skills and shortcomings whether you are a beginner or have some experience with the language. She creates a comfortable learning environment. As a student, I do not worry about making mistakes. She offers a variety of teaching activities to help you grow your language skills. Madeleine effectively explains grammatical concepts, language context, and explains corrections in a manner that is easily understood. Madeleine is always encouraging and professional. She challenges you to try. I feel like my language skills improve with each lesson and enjoy her classes.

Danke Maddy, für diese erste wertvolle Stunde.

Madeleine is helpful and focused, she has a good plan setup for each lesson and is able to jump straight into exercises which give you lots of practice. She avoids using too much of your own language so you can get used to receiving instructions and examples in German but she takes the time to repeat and clarify anything you might have missed so you don’t feel lost. She has a good sense of what you need to challenge you from the start, whilst being able to give great feedback and discuss interesting observations with you, meaning you feel both comfortable and confident in every lesson. She is very focused and efficient with our resources, making the most out of every minute. Would recommend as my best German learning experience yet! 10/10

I am a German teacher in the US, and Madeleine has been an essential part of my curriculum this year. In order to get more authentic speaking out of my students, I have been having them work with her since the beginning of the school year. My students love working with her: she is kind, patient, and makes my students feel comfortable. I am traveling with 19 students this coming summer and I know my students will benefit from all of their time with Madeleine!

Madeleine ist eine ausgezeichnete Lehrerin. Sie ist immer pünktlich und bereit. Ich habe so viel gelernt, und die zwölf Unterrichtsstunden, die ich mit ihr gemacht habe, waren genau, was ich gebraucht habe, mein Deutsch Sprechen und Selbstvertrauen zu verbessern, bevor ich nach Österreich umziehe. Danke für deine Hilfe, Madeleine!
