I am a 27 year old native English speaker from South Africa. I am a fun, outspoken, energetic and easy going person with a friendly personality. I take great pride in my culture and I am entrenched by my religion. I am a strong, independent and driven young lady that loves a challenge and never gives up. The word impossible does not exist in my vocabulary.
I am TEFL certified, passionate about teaching and I love sharing my skills and my knowledge with others so that they can reach their full potential.

My being a friendly and easily approachable person makes it very easy for my students to feel comfortable in my classroom. It also makes it easy for them to feel free to ask questions and to make mistakes. I always give my students the freedom to make mistakes and then I correct them because in that way, they learn and they grow. I use a lot of TPR so that students can make sense of my words through my actions. I also use visuals because showing a picture facilitates easy learning and this has been a great way for my students to learn new vocabulary words. I am also big on encouragement. I set my lessons in a way that they are relatable to my student so that they won't get bored and thus not be willing to participate, so each lesson is tailored according to an individual student's goals and needs.
I try to always introduce my students to new vocabulary words with which they read first and I correct pronunciation. I ask CCQs (Concept checking questions) to check the student's understanding of what is being taught. This has facilitated great learning and continues to do so. I also give students homework and sometimes I give them material prior to our lesson so that they can prepare.Sertifikalar

I have knowledge of classroom managemt, learning strategies and international teaching. I have understanding of the different teaching methods and their application to meet diverse learner needs.
