Greetings. I am Tom, a nationally registered Japanese language teacher from Japan. With over 15 years of professional experience spanning both the IT sector and educational institutions, I specialize in teaching practical Japanese with a wide range of knowledge in grammar and Japanese culture.

I have taught students from different countries for more than 3,500 lessons on italki as well as one-on-one lessons for business persons working in Japan. My teaching philosophy centers on helping students consolidate solid foundations than leads to autonomous study. Through a trial lesson or first lesson, I suggest a suitable textbook to tailor to individual goals, considering each student's learning style.
