Hi, I’m Dhea Rinaldi, a multilingual educator with a strong academic and cultural background. I’m originally from South Borneo, Indonesia, and I spent over four years living in China, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from Nanjing Forestry University.
Now based in Bali, I combine my love for languages and travel with professional teaching. I’m TEFL and TESOL certified, and I focus on practical, real-life communication that suits each student’s learning style and goals.

My teaching style is very student-centered. I want to create a space where you can practice Bahasa Indonesia/Mandarin/English as practically as possible. I also use a variety of different resources. As well as using books, worksheets, flashcards and videos into my lessons. The teaching style differs slightly depending on which course you choose. Dhea made the lesson interactive and immediately set realistic expectations for me to start speaking in Bahasa Indonesia, even with simple three-word sentences like “I like apples” (“aku suka apels”). The lessons are adjusted to the student’s level of learning. Excellent class!
