Firstly, I tend to prepare the class material in advance. Please tell me your interests before the class, and otherwise, we can focus on some random topics. Secondly, I would like to correct your grammar and pronunciation mistakes and add some new vocabulary when necessary. Thirdly, I prefer only speaking Chinese in class, and if you do not understand something, I can slowly explain it in simple Chinese. However, if it is necessary, I can also speak English and French fluently to translate the meaning.

Huang Xinjie is a very kind and patient teacher! It was my first Mandarin class after a long time of not studying and I was very very rusty, but she helped me find the words I was looking for. We discussed current events and I learned a lot of new vocabulary related to the environment. Thank you!
