Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Emma! I'm from Cork in the south of Ireland but I now live in Japan!

I love learning languages and studied French, German and Japanese in university, so I know what it's like to learn a language.
言語を学ぶことが好きで、大学でフランス語、ドイツ語と日本語を勉強しましたので、言語学習の経験があります。
Being able to speak to someone in their native language is a very powerful skill (not to mention the key to their heart!) and this is what inspired me to want to help people learn English. I hope to see you in my lesson!

My students usually tell me that they feel comfortable to be themselves and make mistakes in my class. 私の生徒によると、私のレッスンでは自分らしくいることや間違いをしても大丈夫と感じているそうです。
Mistakes are important for improvement, so the more the better!

I do recommend that you take a trial lesson, however, I will always make contact with you before our first lesson to allow me to prepare a little for our first class.

We will have a chat to see what your level is and find possible topics of interest so I can adjust the class to fit you.

After each class, students are provided with notes of key vocabulary used during class.
