Andrea Olvera

Andrea is an excellent academic who shares an array of knowledge when it comes to not only language but History and Anthropology as well. She teaches by conversing in Spanish as well as challenging her students to use what Spanish they already know and combine it with English. Afterwards she expresses how to correctly say what you said in a respectful manner! It is an efficient way of learning and already see improvement in my own reading and speaking ability!

Andrea is a great teacher! She's very patient and also engaging when presenting new material. She is good about listening to my goals and catering our lessons toward them. Highly recommend!

Great taking classes with Andrea again. After catching up, we reviewed a journal entry I prepared for my University Spanish class. Great help. I love that she types corrections in the "chat" section so I can review later. See you in a week!

I love Andrea! She is patient and knowledgeable, makes class fun, and will adjust to any student's needs. Andrea is expertly fluent in English, so no matter your level, even if you don't know a single Spanish word, you will have her from day one. And, if you're interested in conversation practice, she has a variety of wide-ranging interests and can converse on any topic. If you give her class a try, you will not regret it.

Andrea is an excellent instructor. She does the right combination of speaking so that I can work on my comprehension and listening and making corrections to my vocabulary and grammar. She is a very knowledgeable English speaker so is able to readily explain her points. She also initiates conversation topics, which makes the process easier and more enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my first class with Andrea. She has excellent communication skills and conversation never lags. Very clear pronunciation and she easily adapts to what you want to talk about. I recommend her 100% and will definitely take more classes with her in the near future!
