My name is Stella, I’m a native German living in Spain. Since 2000, I’ve been working in financial markets, consulting, sustainability, podcasting, coaching, and female finance. Writing books is one of my passions, so my love for my mother tongue naturally led me to teaching German. I’m also a dog lover – you might even meet Coco in our classes! What I truly enjoy is working with people, whether it’s in my German lessons or in my coaching sessions. After several years of teaching, I would describe myself as an open-minded teacher who always keeps the focus on your success. Even though we might get to know each other well, I remain your teacher – here to guide you, correct you, and help you reach your German language goals. I am a structured person, but I also love to bring creativity into my lessons. We will explore a wide range of topics – from countries and activities to the environment and daily life – so that you feel increasingly confident and comfortable in German. All of my lessons are individually designed to meet your needs. I like to teach in a fresh, engaging, and diverse way, always providing homework and customized lesso I offer different types of lessons, but my main focus is on conversations. These include conversation practice for adults and teenagers, business discussions, career preparation (CV and job interviews), as well as targeted all-in-one training. Stella ist eine sehr sympathische Lehrerin. Sie hört mir aufmerksam zu, spricht deutlich Deutsch mit ruhigem Ton und gibt mir wertvolles Feedback. Es macht großen Spaß, mit ihr zu reden. Ich kann Stella jedem weiterempfehlen.

I first met Stella five years ago when I was looking to improve my German. I was so impressed with her classes, that five years later I went back. This time I was looking to change my job in the finance sector in Switzerland. Stella helped me hugely all the way: from the initial applications to the job interviews and the wage negotiation. Her tips helped me advocate for myself (in German!) and get the best possible outcome. I have now signed my new contract, I am very happy about it and very grateful to Stella!
