I took a trial lesson with him. He mainly used a conversational approach, asking about my background and interests. However, the lesson felt informal and unstructured, with limited correction.

My first class with Gavin was great!, we have talk about my goals and about what are we going to practice more in the lessons. Also he has prepared materials so I can learn in a better and easier way.

I passed my FCE exam, and I am incredibly grateful to Gavin for all his help and support. He helped me overcome many barriers, especially with the Speaking parts, and our grammar revision made a real difference - I achieved a good result in Use of English. Gavin always supported me, explained everything clearly, and knew exactly what to focus on when something needed more practice. His lessons helped me become more confident and better prepared for the exam. He is not only a talented and professional teacher, but also a genuinely kind person. Thank you so much, Gavin!
