Hello! My name is Jay. I'm Mexican-American & I'm currently living in Mexico City. Having made my way across the globe, I've learned that a sense of adventure can go a long way. From the Mediterranean to the Caribbean. A feeling of discovery is one that I bring to my interactions with any new-language learner.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish & Latin-American studies from UCLA. In my professional life, I have been able to successfully work with students at beginning & more advanced levels.

Excellent first lesson with Jay! The class was structured and we could talk about music in a very friendly way. After the lesson he sent me a summary of topics discussed. I recommend his lessons :)

Teacher Jay is perfect! He is very patient and he knows how to make you feel comfortable, specially if you’re not very confident when you try to express your ideas in English. He is a dedicated and a passionate teacher that has a huge sense of pedagogy. Lessons with Jay are always dynamical and plenty of knowledges and humor. Thanks a lot to him !!
