Just completed my first week with Oriane and I'm *extremely* pleased with the results! Being myself an autodidact who has a philological approach to language, speaking has always been my weakest area. So, at our first lesson, I could barely string together a sentence. Now, after only a week, I'm speaking French far more fluidly and naturally than I could’ve ever imagined. Oriane is the ideal teacher. She is polite, kind, cheerful, patient, extremely supportive, and very flexible. She has *a lot* of knowledge of French: the technicalities around grammar, pronunciation, spelling, etc. More importantly, being herself a university-educated French native, she has an intuition for context in expressions, phrases, idiomatic usages, which is extremely useful for anyone wanting to learn French to a professional capacity. For those of you wanting custom lessons and to work towards a more advanced proficiency in French, Oriane is perfect. Keep up the good work Oriane!

I am so happy I found Oriane, she is a wonderful teacher. I had sessions with other teachers in italki, but after my first lesson with Oriane, I knew I was I going to be booking my lessons with her. As a native Spanish speaker, I have problems with the liaison and with certain sounds (v vs. b), Oriane gives me exercises to improve my pronunciation. We talk about different topics and she gives me constant feedback and tips to sound more natural. I had had more than 10 sessions with her, and I plan to continue with at least one session per week. I recommend her highly.
