Hi everyone! My name is Macarena and I was born in Spain. I have a degree in Translation (Alicante University). In the past I lived in England and also in Germany. I feel passion for languages, especially phonetics. ¡Hola! Me llamo Macarena, nací en España y he estudiado Traducción e Interpretación en la Universidad de Alicante. Durante un tiempo viví en Inglaterra y también en Alemania. Me encantan los idiomas y en especial la fonética.

I like when a job is well done: be assured I will do my best to help you either with your Spanish. I am a calm, patient person. I am also flexible: you can choose the topic you are interested in and we talk about it (or I can choose it for you, if you prefer). And don’t worry about making mistakes. Remember: we can learn from them too! 😊 Me gusta el trabajo bien hecho, así que me esforzaré al máximo por ayudarte con tu español. Soy una persona paciente y tranquila. Macarena is a very good teacher/ conversationalist, and clearly corrected my errors without interrupting the flow. We had some connection issues (probably my end, as I had not used Italki classroom before) but these were overcome quickly by Macarena by using Zoom.

Macarena is a great teacher. I love the opportunity to discuss a different subject in each class. At this class, we discussed education. At the end of the class, she helped me to understand what I have to improve and how to do it.
