I've taken many classes with him so far and my level of understanding and ability to converse have skyrocketed since i started studying with him. He's a language learning enthusiast so he really connects with students and understands their process of learning. He has near-native English so there's no lack of clear explanations that I need when I struggle with a difficult concept or gramatical construct. He's very patient and makes his classes enjoyable. I am primarily using italki to improve my listening comprehension and ability to converse in Spanish with others. Jahdai really encourages me to converse with him on a variety of topics during our classes. Throughout the conversation, I appreciate how he will stop me to correct me and teach me finer grammatical or vocabulary usage points to improve my language utilization in real time. He prepares notes for me to review these teaching points after class, which greatly aids learning retention. He also incorporates a variety of materials helpful for advancing my skills outside of class and tailors a learning plan for me based on my available time outside of class. I am looking forward to improving my fluency further with Jahdai - and he makes the process fun (he has a great sense of humor, too)! Thank you, Jahdai! 🙏🏻
