I've had a few dozen classes with Vanessa and my Spanish has improved tremendously such that I'm now able to speak at a level I could never have imagined. She's a very safe pair of hands if you want to take your Spanish to the next level and a real pleasure to talk to.

Vanessa continues to be an exemplary teacher. She matches her level of spanish to mine and continues pushing me to improve with minor corrections but is able to keep the conversation flowing for the full hour. It truly is a joy having lessons with her and the hour always flys by. I'm looking forward to our lessons in the future!

I continue to love my classes with Vanessa. In every class we dive into a relevant social topic (e.g., today we talked about depression, in our last class we talked about fake news) that's connected to my personal and professional interests. Vanessa always comes with a series of thought-provoking questions that keep us talking, and I really enjoy the conversations we have. She does a great job of understanding what I'm trying to express and providing the vocabulary or phrasing that I'm missing, which has helped me to learn a lot of thematic vocabulary in a very short time.
