My name is Muhammad Wasim a native Urdu speaker from Pakistan. I have done my Master Degree in Urdu with specialization in Urdu grammar and spoken. I am a professional Urdu tutor who has been teaching for the past 4 years. I am patient and easy to talk with my students and I will give you the feedback which will help you to grow in these languages fluently. I am passionate about languages and teaching. I first judge the areas which a student needs to learn and improve and then start working on it with practical approach. I make my students to enjoy the lesson. I want them to understand that they can do it, they can succeed. I prefer to make students learn through Conversational Urdu for example discuss about books, movies, cultural festivals and all which a student likes/ prefers. I emphasize Grammar and its structure so that students are able to form new sentences at their end rather than memorize one by one or learn some specific sentences. I provide Home work including slides, pdf files, audio files (to enhance their listening) and notes so that they can practice in their own time outside the class.

I have long wanted to learn Urdu, and Wasim has been an excellent teacher. Very attentive to my particular needs as a student, thoughtful and kind. He has prepared a series of very good materials that he shares with me during our classes. I am really happy to be learning Urdu with Wasim.

Wasim is the only teacher I met so far who had a plan (scheme) for the classes and explained to me the sequence. His tone and pace is just right for a beginner. His materials contain both Roman and Urdu scripts so I can go back to it later when we start to learn the Urdu script.
