✨Certified French Teacher and DELF-DALF-TCF Examiner✨ Salut! My name is Élodie, I come from Avignon, a city in the south of France which is famous for its theater festival. I have been teaching French for over ten years (including five years online) and I love my job because it enables me to travel and meet people from all over the world. I am a very open-minded and curious person, I am interested in various subjects: travels, literature, gastronomy (I love to make new culinary experiences!), plastic arts, environment, series, among many other subjects! ### Please note that I only teach adults ### I have been teaching in France, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, both in group training and private lessons. I have worked in private institutes, Alliances françaises and in a university. For me, the most important thing when learning a foreign language is to be able to communicate in that language. Grammar and vocabulary are simply tools at the service of communication, there is no reason to be intimidated by them! Kindness is at the heart of my teaching: it is important for me to create a climate of confidence where you can practice while having fun, make mistakes (there is no progress without them!), and above all express yourself in French. You are at the center of my pedagogy : I will adapt my approach according to your objectives, your rhythm and your interests. I like to use a variety of materials to make the class pleasant and dynamic.

Elodie est une enseignante vraiment douée. Si vous trouvez que vous comprenez le français mais que vous avez du mal à parler, vous deviendrez plus fluide après avoir suivi ses cours. Elodie est encourageante et fait un effort supplémentaire pour s'assurer que vous comprenez la grammaire, la compréhension et la prononciation. Des notes de révision détaillées sont envoyées après chaque leçon. Je la recommande fortement.

I've done several lessons with Elodie now, and she's always very organized, prepared, motivating, and fun. She comes up with great lessons and exercises, and she's always very patient with me when I have questions. She explains grammar in a very accessible way, and gives plenty of opportunities to practice what I've learned! I will definitely sign up for more lessons!
