Intermediate & Advanced Spanish (B1–C2) & DELE—active vocabulary, with a strong Literature & Culture track.
I’m Mailén (Buenos Aires). For 7+ years I’ve helped adults build an active vocabulary, refine register & style, and pass DELE.
I’ve worked with 700+ students worldwide, including professionals and advanced learners who want to think and argue in Spanish.
My niche: topic-based vocabulary + close reading and argumentation (short stories, essays, current affairs).

Who I help
• Vocabulary & Expression (B1–C2): lexical fields, collocations/chunks, discourse markers, register & tone.
• DELE/SIELE (B1–C2) : real tasks, section strategies, timed mocks, precise corrections.
• Literary & Critical Reading (B2–C2): close reading, metaphor & symbolism, rhetoric and academic style (brief commentaries).

Courses are tailored to B1–C2 learners and include materials.
We start with a quick diagnostic, then alternate guided conversation with close reading of short stories or essays to expand active vocabulary, refine register and strengthen argumentation. Training focuses on lexical fields, collocations, reformulation and shadowing. You receive precise feedback, an error log and a 10–15 min/day study plan.
For DELE, we add real tasks, timing strategies and periodic timed mocks.

Mailén is an amazing teacher. She listens to your goals and then works with you to achieve them. She has a wide range of interests, so whatever topic interests you, she'll find a way to incorporate it into your lessons to keep you engaged and learning. Right now we are preparing for a DELE exam, but after that I plan to go back to working on Spanish literature and poetry with her. I highly recommend her.
