梨菜 (りな)/ Rina

I've been studying with Rina for over 2 years and in that time, I've gone from an almost complete beginner to having passed the N3. One of her greatest strengths is how well she is able to explain complex or tricky grammar points, as well as her ability to make every lesson engaging and fun. We've currently begun prepping for the N2 together and although it'll be the hardest challenge I've had, I'm confident that I'll be able to pass with Rina. I've been taking lessons with Rina for a couple of months now, and I always look forward to our lessons! She's patient, encouraging, and energetic. She promotes a warm, friendly atmosphere where I'm not afraid to make mistakes when practicing output and also learning new things.

I’ve been having weekly lessons with Rina-sensei for 1 year now and it’s been a lot of fun! At the start I knew almost no Japanese, but with her patience and kind teaching I have been able to pass the JLPT N5 exam. We are now working towards N4 and there is no one else I would rather have by my side. Thank you, Rina-sensei! If you need help studying towards a JLPT exam or just want to have a relaxed environment to learn more about the language, I really recommend Rina-sensei. Her enthusiasm for the language and her friendly approach to teaching make lessons the highlight of my week.

Rina-san continues to be a great teacher. She is encouraging and patient as I slowly piece together the material. I feel more prepared to actually use Japanese with others instead of just read it.
