Bonjour, My name is Nelson, I'm a native French speaker teaching in Italki for 4 years. Originally from France, I chose the island life to live in the Philippines. I would describe myself as a positive person, easygoing and curious. I love to share my energy with my students. I firmly believe that learning French should be exciting. I'm an entrepreneur and videographer with a Master's degree in Business. I'm passionate about travel, culture, business, and adventures! And Politics (of course, I'm French) :D I help beginners to advanced levels students learn French in a comfortable and positive environment. I am very patient and attentive, and I will do my best to help you reach your goals in learning French. Every student is different, so my lessons are 100% based on your needs and your goals. Over the years, I built efficient methods that help you achieve your goal. Whether you want to speak French for fun, to travel in France, or land your dream Job in a French company, we can make the magic happen. This was only my 2nd lesson with Nelson and I already know I made a right choice with doing lessons with him! He was super patient when I struggled and attentive to what I said. He's great with getting the conversation going. I'm someone who prefers to be corrected asap by my tutors, so that I can learn & say the correct phrase right after. I liked how the 2nd half was for me to practice passé composé vs imparfait which I've been struggling with. Merci beaucoup Nelson et Joyeux Noël !

Working with Nelson is great, he's very patient with me. He comes well prepared for each lesson, gives me homework, and provides helpful feedback. Overall, I really enjoy the lessons with him. He's easy-going and pleasant to learn with. I definitely recommend him to others.
