Martina

Excellent Italian instructor. She is thoroughly familiar with the curriculum that official Italian language institutes and schools use globally. Her Italian accent is sophisticated and clean which I think is very important when learning a language as a beginner.

My speaking has substantially improved with these lessons with Martina. My husband and I went to Italy, and I was able to comfortably have many conversations with people who spoke little to no English. I still have a long way to go to be fluent, but my level is certainly enough to get around even in small Italian villages.

Martina has been a great help in preparing me with some basic Italian. I'm sure I will be back!

Martina is an excellent teacher who is very organised with lots of great learning material and has a really lovely manner that makes it easy to ask questions

I threw a curve ball at Martina and she caught it like a pro: I wanted to change the focus of my studying and she came up with a new idea that will accomodate it perfectly. She is always very professional, helpful, and patient.

Martina always comes up with level-appropriate lessons for me. As I've improved, her speaking has gotten to a more natural rhythm (she spoke more slowly when I was less advanced). But she remains as patient as ever when I struggle to remember words. And she is a master at working corrections into a conversation without disrupting the flow of the conversation, but also knowing when to dive in deeper on a topic.
