Born in South Africa and living in Ireland, I’m a conversation-focused English teacher who believes language thrives through connection. My specialty? **Helping intermediate/advanced learners gain fluency and confidence** through lively, culturally rich discussions—like sharing stories over virtual "cups of tea." Having worked across industries (from entry-level to management), I adapt effortlessly to your goals, whether it’s travel, work, or daily life. Fluent in Afrikaans and deeply curious about cultures, I love showing how English bridges worlds—just like my own journey. I am a qualified TEFL and TESOL teacher. I have been teaching online for four years. I have also passed home education with distinction. I have completed two modules in Early Childhood Education and am a mother to two beautiful children. I feel that my qualifications, coupled with my life experience and the fact that English is my native tongue, will equip me to be a really good teacher. I teach students of all ages, from as young a three to students who are already retired. I tailor my lessons to suit my students' individual needs. I don't specialize in a particular area of English. I believe that learning should be fun, regardless of your age. I believe that you are never too old or too young to learn. I believe that the more senses you engage when learning something, the more you retain. My approach to teaching English would be to teach you to fish, not to give you a fish for dinner, by teaching you to fish, I am teaching you how to have meals for the rest of your life. I believe that I cannot correct you, if I cannot connect with you. My aim is to teach you English which is a valuable skill whilst having as much fun as possible.Öğretim materyallerim
