I can't believe it's been a year and 100+ lessons with Ayumi sensei! She's patient, curious, passionate about teaching, and loves sharing stories, so there's never a dull moment in class. She uses a lot of visual aids and vivid examples to make grammar and vocab memorable. I'm always impressed by the way she connects topics effortlessly and whips out relevant materials whenever I'm stuck. I highly recommend her! I've been able to stay consistent thanks to Ayumi Sensei!

I cannot express the the devotion, expertise, and the impact of Ayumi-sensei had on my Japanese in this review. So I wrote a 1200 word essay on iTalki to explain why she is the best teacher for all levels. No other teacher in the world would I relieve other teachers to make more room for more lessons with Ayumi-Sensei (let alone write a 1200 word essay). I loved her lessons so much that I took lessons during my Japan holiday! I would like to share this with you. Fantastic! I was so nervous to converse in Japanese, but the teacher put me at ease immediately and the conversation moved smoothly and naturally. Never a dull moment, and I got notes and corrections throughout. Very helpful!

Did not have a lesson with Sensei for over a year due to work. She still remembered everything. Awesome! 👌

いつも先生に何か習います。頑張ります！😀
